There was also Philippines Airlines 434 where components for a bomb were hidden in the culprit's shoes and then assembled on the plane. The plane managed to land safely, but one passenger was killed by the explosion and a number of others were injured.
To answer your question about system updates, it's almost always safe to update and there's no reason not to update as long as your CFW (Luma) is fully updated. System updates are only an issue on OFW, since the updates are basically just for patching the exploits used to get CFW in the first place.
As for the limitations of region changing, The Guide has that covered on their page for the process.
Another really important thing is that you should never follow any guide other than the one I previously linked. You especially should not follow a video guide because they get outdated very quickly and may promote old and/or unsafe methods of hacking the console.
Dreamcast ads got real weird. I vividly remember this one ad for Seaman: It showed a pair of feet and a fish tail sticking out from under a blanket. The accompanying text was "I will not mate outside my own species " repeated several times.
The aviation nerd in me wants everyone to know that's actually a picture of a completely different plane. I'm pretty sure that's a Douglas C-47 Skytrain.
(Sorry I don't have a funny comment to add.)
I don't think that what you want exists. The best I can offer is SysDVR, which streams video to a PC and from there you could livestream that.
Alternatively, you could try your luck asking on GBAtemp and see what they know.
The first game I can remember playing was Desert Demolition: Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote on Sega Genesis. I don't really remember the gameplay well. I still have the game (with the box and manual), but it's stored away somewhere (probably a bin in my closet).
The Japanese version can be played in English if you have a MIL-CD compatible system. You'll just need to burn a boot disc to a CD-R.
You can't edit the post on someone else's blog, but you can when reblogging it to your own. This means that anyone who rebloggs the post from you, someone who reblogged from them, or anyone else down the chain will retain your edits. It was really popular to do this to John Green.
Edit: Fixed a mistake.
It just stops. The story I heard about why was because the author was afraid of dying and leaving it unfinished, so he just stopped and effectively left it unfinished.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
It's so easy to setup and you get so much out of it. I personally recommend Project+. It adds new characters, costumes, stages, music, Melee-like gameplay and more.
