I think it was because there were a few high profile let-downs, like Kerbal Space Program 2, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield etc. Even Zelda, which was eagerly anticipated, was only OK and interest fizzled out quite quickly.
Supply and demand. House prices are high because lots of buyers are financially competing for the same properties. The prices won't collapse unless something disastrous happens to the world that results in an oversupply of housing or massively harms people's spending power, and the odds are you would be affected by that too.
BOTW - None of the things you mentioned were original for that game either. I remember gliding around as Spyro all the way back in the 90's. Even the Just Cause series had them before Zelda. Stamina bars have been in so many games I think you'd need an archeologist to work out where they originated from.
The Pals are obvious rip-off Pokémon, but as Nintendo / Gamefreak don't give a shit about making a half-decent game from their own IP, I think it becomes fair game for other companies to have a crack at it.
Yeah it's a bog standard survival game at its core with not-pokemon tacked on, so if that's not your thing then avoid it
I've only watched a few of them, but they seem to have a vague story-arc at least. To me they just came across as old-school absurd internet humour like what we used to have 20+ years ago.
I disagree with cordless Dysons. We have the V8 Animal and it's pretty pathetic. It struggles to pick up anything denser than dust and the very smallest of crumbs, and the battery life isn't enough to do a full clean of a house in one go. Most of the time we have to get out the old corded one to finish what the cordless couldn't. I think brands like Shark and Vax are supposed to be better but I've not tried them.
I use Onshape personally. It's free, web browser based, and uses parametric modelling which is handy for fiddling about with sizes. It works very similar to Solidworks as it's done by the same guys.
It lacks woodworking specific tools though. You're pretty much limited to sketching and extruding panel-by-panel.
