He will never be arrested as long as his threats are aimed at the left. LEO's are almost exclusively conservatives.
There are absolutely no limits to conservative gaslighting attempts. Conservatives are simply incapable of honesty.
Unfortunately, this doesn't account for the GOP plans to use their SCOTUS to tilt the balance in swing states. Vote and make sure others vote. And then be prepared for a total rat-fuck extravaganza.
When they use their judges to steal this election (as they are currently planning to do), what will normal people do? Anything?
Successful fuckery with this election will result in widespread violence between neighbors. It could last weeks or longer.
Be ready for neighborhood level violence. Have a plan for you and your family, if even to cover just a few weeks (food, water, electricity, fuel, ammo, barricade materials).
Conservatives are openly trying to fuck this election as hard as they can. The only question is if they will succeed. If they do, neighbors will kill neighbors over it. It will not be peaceful like the time conservatives brazenly stole Florida's votes and gave them to Bush. That was a surprise to the normal people. This will be no surprise at all. This will result in bloodshed.
Just. Goddamnit. I read so much of this article before I realized I had a mouth full of onion. Bravo.
You are thinking of their nomad visa (D8) which takes 5 years and requires a monthly income of at least $3200 Eur/mo. The problem has always been getting a U.S. employer to allow you to work remote AND out of country.
HR and payroll departments absolutely hate letting remote workers live outside the country because it makes tax liabilities and benefits complicated for them. So, it's quite rare to find a U.S. company that will do it. Even most multi-national megacorps are assholes about it.
But, if you are a successful freelancer with a very reliable income from non-Portuguese sources, then this may be an option. Most of us don't fit that bill, unfortunately. Hell, most Americans struggle just to get a hybrid work situation. The idea of international remote or stable freelancing is quite a tall order.
