I've periodically had this same question. I always come back to Bear though. Markdown alone might be enough, but the workflows I now have with Alfred and Shortcuts put Bear far above Notes. And 2.0 is now out!
I updated to the 2.0 release from the beta today. Rather than delete the beta I renamed it, then downloaded the release. So far so great.
I'm wondering if x-callback-url scheme has been implemented in Bear 2. Opening a browser search window ATM for me...
Can’t wait to build my first Voron, planning on going with Magic Phoenix as well. Great write up on your blog, I hope to read more so keep writing :)
What do you think of the CB1 vs using a Pi? I have no idea either way, just curious.
Still using RSS via Reeder. Has a sync service and works across my devices (MacOS, iOS).
These things are expensive because of your relative viewpoint. They are not expensive to someone who makes thousands a day.
Until you can establish a steady income you will be reliant on your family for the things you want in life. If they are providing for baseline needs like food and housing, then a goal of earning enough to purchase a printer and computer is a good start toward learning independence. Independence can give you the confidence to rely on yourself and know you are capable to do whatever you put your mind to.
Then suddenly you'll find a printer and a computer are not so expensive after all.
I'm in, thanks for starting this. It'll be a slow grind to rebuild the reddit communities here, but worth it in the long run.
