There's a great scifi book that has a computer that's run on ants as logic gates. It's slow as fuck but has enough processing power to run an AI.
There was a space-themed version of Zork (classic text-based adventure with a squad) I've never been able to find. I've spent years looking online for any mention of something similar so it must have been a less well known project.
I'd periodically visit my auntie in a little border town in the desert and this game on her 486 was all there was to do (mid-80s). It captured my imagination at an early age and I think about it often, but it is completely lost to me.
Damn love me some NES OST but never heard this one before, that title screen music got me skankin, thanks for sharing
Posting anything Alistair Lindsay is cheating. This is the best soundtrack of any game ever hands and feet down. I'll never forget my first ship launch back in the single digit alpha days and getting to hear Waiting for the Sun for the first time, I cried for like 10 minutes.
A movie about Beanie Babies just came out starrimg Zach Galafanakis, one of those "true story of the 80's/90's product" movies, on crapple+. It's ok to watch while looking at your phone and also eating.
If I saved one person the 4 calories worth of finger movements required to open a new tab and Google this themselves then I'll go to sleep happy.
