Dealing in absolutes is shitty. That’s what I think.
While some fractionally small percentage of obese people are obese because their body gives them no other choice, many obese people are that way simply because they aren’t disciplined. Which is not a moral failing, but a character one
You’ll be fine, it’s pretty light on resources. Your internet connection (bandwidth and stability) is really the biggest factor
The state parks pale in comparison to those in other Western states
The beaches are covered in trash and you can often clearly see oil derricks not too far off coast
The lakes are polluted, so much so that people have bumper stickers begging people to keep them clean
Rivers… exist everywhere
“Snow” is a generous word for the Sierra Cement and whatever icy dirt that Big Bear charges $200 per lift ticket to ride on
Yes but over 80% of the population lives in LA or the Bay Area. Which is why non-Californians don’t think of places like Redding when they think of California

Overpriced and overcrowded - however, if your main hobbies are eating and shopping, and you think weather is annoying, then you won’t mind the price & crowds.
So, not bad for everyone
I don’t think it’s too complicated, it’s just significant enough of a difference to prevent the game from being pick up n play for people who are used to Smash. I think All Star Brawl would’ve been much more successful if they stayed close to Smash’s control scheme, like Multiversus did
