I USED to get amazing support from Amazon
Example: GTX 980TI on sale for 600 instead of 800 so I grab it, but the order doesn't appear in my history? A day later it suddenly does and I'm charged FULL PRICE. Reach out to them to be like "where's my $200 off?" And they sent back "shit fam you rite, should be $400" and refunded me the difference
Now: ordered some syrup pumps for coffee drink making, 4 pack (4 individual items sent in 1 box), one comes busted, ask for replacement on (1) item. Instead get auto-refund approved, a rude message saying "they'll make an exception this time", and the refund took 3 weeks
I told my ISP explicitly not to provide one as I owned my own
I was out of town when they set it up, guess what was installed
It took a year of calls for the rental to be taken off my bill and they never took the hardware back. I have lots of everything they said (recorded calls and told them I was too since 2 party state)
I love having 1 fucking Option!
Mine WAS hurting, then I filed fraud charges with the bureaus and copied the email that showed Comcast saying I didn't owe them anything
Now it's only experian that keeps getting them about every 6 months, after 4 reports they started vanishing off my report within a week automatically lol
Absolutely insane that companies can just say that you owe them money without ever actually contacting you, sell your "debt" to someone, and have that hurt your credit for 7 years
always bemoan how difficult it is to park
I've made multuple older men incredibly upset by laughing at them when they say this
They get pissy and respond with "well you're some skinny long haired hippie who drives an EV so what do you know?" Which, yeah, all of that is true
But then I pull up the pictures of me 4x4ing in the rain and snow through fire smoke at work, pointing out that I drove a RAM3500 fully kitted out and lifted with a giant set of 4 110g tanks in the bed blocking anything other than my mirror and cam view, yet I only had issues parking when people didn't know how to stay in their own lines, and that I regularly had to squeeze my truck into areas with an inch or less of clearance in order to do my fucking job on a construction site, and I never hit anything but a rock (downhill, someone left a fucking rug out on some dirt in the rain and when my truck hit it I just slid til I hit the rock, company deemed me blameless)
They usually get flustered and change the subject p quick at that point
it’s inherently undemocratic
It's exhausting trying to discuss shit online with people with such a terrible understanding of the topic at hand
Senators are voted for and represent their entire state. They're the representatives of the state's general populace in a representative democracy
and I get none
Only if you're not an American or live in DC
(population 780k) gets two. The 4.7M people in Harris County get none. That is a poor design
Again the people in Harris county get 2 senators as their state senators represent them. And, again, senators do not represent based on population as that is the job of the house
Senators are far more powerful than representatives
Entirely irrelevant as they represent different things. Your representatives represent a portion of your population while your senators represent your state as a whole. The entire point of separating the state and population representation is to allow more perspectives when legislating: the house gives a perspective from closer to the people, the senate from a broader view
Again, it seems you fundamentally don't understand the split between house and Senate, why it exists and what it does to our governing system
Land doesn't have rights
I agree, but the point is to have a section of the government where the 50 disparate governments that make up our union have equal say. This tends to get simplified to "land gets 2 votes" because the other part of Congress is population based
Where is their representation
In the house, as I said already. Also, their 2 senators are part of their representation, they're still part of the state
Why do the Dakotas (4 senators for virtually no population) get more political power than California or Texas?
Because the house has a limit on members. The senate is literally equal by design
Your issue seems to be a lack of understanding of how our legislative branch works because your complaints are all root issues of the House of Representatives and not the senate
I don't blame the MD tbh, if I had to try and make Starfield worth buying I'd fucking quit
Fire Emil and you'll be on a good start to un-fucking yourselves, Bethesda
That's the point of the Senate: land gets equal votes
The house is for population, but we fucked it by capping the total number of reps you can have there
