As the first song they wrote together back in 1982, this song is a symbol of their friendship and I think it's beautiful that they played it now more than 40 years later after everything that happend in their history, from Hillel and Jack to John and Chad.
OK, I think I understand what you mean, for me it sounded more like George Clinton was a background singer, but you can definitely hear him louder in some parts. Thanks for posting those sources, I think I'm going to listen to P-Funk now.
