Anyone else notice this? I couldn’t find any other info online apart from a Reddit post about two people reporting their AirTags no longer working after updating to iOS 17, so I wanted to post here for visibility and seek advice.
As soon as I updated to iOS 17, my YIP AirTag I used to track my cats location stopped working. Tried factory resetting and a different phone (also on ios17) without success. My other Apple-branded AirTags work perfectly fine.
If Apple truly did nuke support for devices I already own, I am one step closer to abandoning their walled garden….. anyone else here possibly able to confirm this is happening to them too? Is there another community I should be posting this to?
Let’s get some recommendations out there for people favorite restaurants in the area. Typically you’ll find some staples in these posts, like Ekiben ( and they deserve the recognition IMO!), but I’d especially be interested in some hidden gems if you’ve got any!
I’ll start:
-Sonny Lee’s Hunan Taste. It’s a bit out of the city, in Reisterstown, but it is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Maryland/in the DMV. Even simple dishes, like sesame chicken, are on a different level from any other casual Chinese food place.
-Kong (Pocha) doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they serve quality Korean food that deserves a visit if you’re looking for a true hidden gem.
-Puerto 511 Cocina is a higher-end Peruvian restaurant, but the price is completely reasonable IMO. The chef is the FRIENDLIEST restaurant owner I’ve ever met, and I will happily continue to give him my business. His menu rotates frequently and includes a number of small plate courses that highlight the cuisine of Peru.
-Cochina Luchadoras is a small mexican restaurant by fells. They serve quality quesabirria style tacos that compliment a walk along the harbor if you’re ever in the area!
Anyone have other restaurants they’d like to shout out?
