Why is there an asklemmy@lemmy.world but just asklemmy is 404 community not found?

This is also the case for c/metal, and I assume other communities as well.

I think this also makes it so that this community does not show up as local for me. I think it needs to be modified to properly work. I don't have a great way to check, but I assume this looks like asklemmy@lemmy.world@lemmy.world to sites outside of here.
