Well, this is going to date me.
The first time I heard "River of Deceit" by Mad Season it was on the radio on my way to my after school job. And it was so instantly stuck in my head that I had to drive to the mall in the next town over to buy the CD after my shift.

I've been watching Letterkenny endlessly (it's SO good) and the music on that show is exquisitely chosen. This French song by Lisa Leblanc I've been trying to learn the words to but mostly make it up as I go along because my French is pathetique.
One time I was getting high with my friend Seth. He lived in a place where smoking wasn’t allowed, so we’d go walk around to smoke.
I just wanted to come back, because I just wanted to exist in his cave.
But Seth liked to prolong my suffering by suggesting we go places.
So one day he starts singing “I’m gonna take it … to the limit … one more ti-i-i-ime!”
Just those lyrics, you know from that one song. And he just kept singing it louder and louder.
Seth was a trip man.
