Found this symbol while going through online about Hammers and Sickles. Apparently this was the symbol of the "Polish National Socialist Party"? So was it like a Nazi Party in Poland?
How familiar are your people with the Third Reich’s atrocities in Poland?
I am sorry if the answer is obvious, but after seeing two Polish Redditors blatantly gloss over the Third Reich’s atrocities I am now seriously contemplating making a thread about the subject later.
I’d imagine that Poland’s ruling class has valid motivations for being as basic or quiet on the subject as possible: if ordinary Polish adults had a good grasp of the subject, chances are, it would only discourage them from equating the Soviets with the German Fascists, because the more that you know about them, the less similar that they look.
It is also possible that this would promote better relations with modern Germany, but I am less sure about that.
