@ani.socialThis was me in the early pandemic. I was basically confined to my small apartment and didn't want to watch anything. So, I played a lot more games in that period. The other thing that I found I was much more able to tolerate was non-fiction. I ended up watching a lot of documentaries in that period.
Kana is great. The whole first part of this episode had just the best reactions. Aqua ended up catching a lot of flack this week for acting like an old man, but it seems to be remarkably effective on these girls. Also, this feels too real:
I feel bad for Akane in this episode. She knows that Aqua has been using her, and she just really wants to be useful to him. However, now that Aqua feels like his mission is accomplished, he is content with letting her go. So, Akane is left with a dilemma. Either she:
Tough choice Akane! Do you want to burden the person you care about with the thought that their revenge is unfulfilled? Or do you want to lift their burden causing them to drift away from you in the process? Tune in next week to find out!
Yeah, in case it wasn't clear to people, the person that murdered Ai is not the father, merely a stalker that somebody had been feeding information to. Aqua believes that the informant has to be his father, thus the revenge arc. After Ai's murder, the stalker ended up committing suicide, so there wasn't any way to get information about the source of the leaked information.
I understand that non-source readers were a bit confused about the loophole that Akane mentioned this episode as it wasn't super clear from the visualization they did this episode. However, if you know, then it makes a lot of sense. I think that strikes a good balance. It is the kind of thing that when the reveal happens, people will come back and see that with new eyes and have this feeling like it was all there the whole time.
Days With My Stepsister takes the top spot with an impressive vote share. Isekai Shikkaku made big jump up the chart this past week as well. Between this past week and this coming week, most of these shows are airing their finales. So, it will be interesting to see the rankings next week as some of these shows won't be on the chart any longer.
I couldn't really make heads or tails of if this project is a sequel, a remake, a spinoff, or what. So, if anybody has additional information for this project that was announced all the way back in 2017, then I will gladly update the post.
I have seen bits and pieces of the OG Ranma, so part of me wants to check out the remake. However, I am expecting to be pretty crunched for time next season, so I think I might end up waiting and then bingeing it all some time in the future.
I trawled through AniList for the 2020's and here are some I enjoyed that I don't seem to see people mention very much. Ten in no particular order:
Bravern is top of my list as well. Hell, Mother's Basement made a whole video about how everybody slept on Bravern despite how much ass it kicked.
Bofuri is a good answer. That show was such goofy fun. Also, I am not surprised to see 100GF there. So many people will write off shows just for having a harem tag. So, when a show comes along that is the harem-iest of harems, they don't even give it a chance.
