Kana is great. The whole first part of this episode had just the best reactions. Aqua ended up catching a lot of flack this week for acting like an old man, but it seems to be remarkably effective on these girls. Also, this feels too real:
I feel bad for Akane in this episode. She knows that Aqua has been using her, and she just really wants to be useful to him. However, now that Aqua feels like his mission is accomplished, he is content with letting her go. So, Akane is left with a dilemma. Either she:
- Tell Aqua about this loophole that he hasn't thought of (I won't get into it yet) that would mean his father is still out there. This would mean that she could still be of use to him, so he will keep her around.
- Let's Aqua enjoy his life free from the burden of revenge. However, this would likely result in Aqua distancing himself from Akane as he doesn't want to hold her down and wants to let her live her life.
Tough choice Akane! Do you want to burden the person you care about with the thought that their revenge is unfulfilled? Or do you want to lift their burden causing them to drift away from you in the process? Tune in next week to find out!
