This was a test shave of this razor and the result was terrific. Everything you would expect from a Jnat edge. The edge was in very good shape when it arrived. All it needed was a minor refresh. I think this one was previously honed by @whosgotthepudding@sub.wetshaving.social . I hope I did him justice. Here's the video.
I don't use The Undersea very much. I really enjoyed it today.

Today was another test of this Sheffield Steel razor owned by u/TheBunnynator1001. Yesterday's test gave me the impression that the edge was too sharp so I made it more comfortable by tweaking the geometry of the apex a bit. Naturally, I made a video of this. You don't see people correcting an edge that is "too good" very often.

Awesome scent! Shaving with this soap brings the disorder of my beard to a state of equilibrium. Boltzman++;
This razor belongs to u/TheBunnynator1001 and this was a test shave. The shave was so good and so close that I think the edge is probably too sharp for most people. I'm going to "take the edge off" the edge, and increase the comfort so that under more shaving pressure the edge won't feel harsh.
That was clever to figure out a way to turn the Henson into an adjustable razor :) I’ve never used one, but its design makes me think it would clog easily with 5 days growth.
I have the same pet peeve. I like to match the aftershave and soap scents but hesitate if the aftershave has a cooling agent. This will prevent me from using a HoM soap and splash pairing for AA.
Because I’ve earned the right to be a grumpy old man, I’ll say that if you want a cooling aftershave, just use Aqua Velva! 😠
I have no issues with waiting. The US Customs and USPS can be unpredictable as well. Perhaps for future shaves we can have distribution services on both sides of the Atlantic.
Probably a group of Masonic wetshavers got together and commissioned Henckels to make them a razor that was personalized for the group!
So, I'd guess that the show side was done by Henckels and the back side was etched by someone else. Stainless was invented in the very early 20th century (1913). My father (1912) told me what a big deal it was when stainless became available in items used by the general public. I think this was late '20s, early '30s. A Friodur razor made in that era would, in fact, be a very big deal. Very cool razor!!! I'll be riding to Friodom with my trusty 14. I still have no clue what soap I'll use.
