Sunday, July 14, 2024: Bastille Day (Totally Missed)
Somehow, it occurred to me only after shaving that today was Bastille day, and that I could have chosen a Frenchyer setup than this one β which manages to use a grand total of zero French products. My integration needs improvement.
Have a good day!
A solid 50% of your software selection has at least a partially French name, so I think you're covered π
Yesterday's tea shave had me wishing for more, so I reached for my tub of Te Java, a delicious milk tea scent in a super creamy base.
It's unfortunate that Turtleship doesn't make splashes or frags, this is definitely a scent I'd love to have in more options.

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Today was another test of this Sheffield Steel razor owned by u/TheBunnynator1001. Yesterday's test gave me the impression that the edge was too sharp so I made it more comfortable by tweaking the geometry of the apex a bit. Naturally, I made a video of this. You don't see people correcting an edge that is "too good" very often.

Mango Festival
This was my first time using a glacial soap, and it was no joke. Mango Sunrise subverted my expectations for a sweet, simple scent along the lines of some of Stirling's other fruity scent offerings. The mango is bold and upfront, but the musk tampers the sweetness and adds some really pleasant complexity that came as a surprise.
Brewer was a perfect follow-up, hyping up the shave with mango and papaya scent notes. Then the tangy and hoppy finish provided a refreshing change.
Voices is just a beautiful mango-fronted scent.
