This is my number one thing I look for in a handheld so just wondering what models have stuck out to you guys.
I had a RG351P but couldn't stand the accidental diagonals so I moved on. Apparently there is a mod to fix it so might have to eventually go back and try that.
Next I got a RP2+, and I love the d-pad on this thing.
Like say for example I wanted a cool icon for my kbin/lemmy community.
I used the Reddit forhire sub in the past but it seems less active nowadays.. plus it's Reddit..
And I've used fiverr before but it seems better suited for having a cool artwork made than for webdesign or something highly specific due to the language barrier.
Does everyone just think they can make a living playing games? Trying to search for Diablo 4 info gets you nothing but mountains of useless clickbait youtube videos. Gotta waste my time jumping thru the video just to find out the guy is dumber about the game than I am.
Like I get it, YouTube is the only place you can monetize your "game knowledge", but still.. Why are there are only like two sites with build guides and info? And those two sites don't even have community builds, its just a couple guides written by some l33t dude we are suppose to trust. Why is there no useful discussion forums, discords, or at least something not in video format? If people care about becoming gaming influencers so much why can't we at least come out with a new monetization platform that doesn't suck and has a dislike button.
Anyone else sharing my rage?
Imma start by prefacing that I like kbin way better so far.
But do you guys think they will continue to coexist long term or are we looking at an HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray scenario where only one will remain?
Just seems like they don’t play very nice. My lemmy community I created days ago still isn’t federating here. Furthermore it seems like kbin to lemmy federation is much slower and buggier than lemmy to lemmy and kbin to kbin federation.
Hard to sort by new bc sometimes lemmy posts are already off the first page by the time they federate. Sometimes stuff doesn’t federate at all. I’m almost to the point I feel like I need to have an account on each for browsing.
For the record I bought a HD-DVD player.
I know everyone has that one RPG they fell in love with that will always have a special place for them.
Maybe it was never popular. Maybe it was a love it or hate it and had mixed reviews. Maybe it was a product of nostalgia and the time of your life you played it.
For me it was Saga Frontier on the PSX.
A game where you pick one of multiple characters and play thru the same game world on each one completing a different quest and seeing things from a different angle.
People would say the story is sparse, for me it was enigmatic and mysterious. People would say the battle system was obtuse, too difficult, or required too much grinding. I loved the challenge and getting wiped by it as a younger version of myself who wasn't ready for that level of difficulty, slowly figuring it out just made it all the more epic.
What's your game?
I used to use flipboard, then once I got hooked on Reddit I got lazy and just started getting all my news from there.
Since this place is still getting its start thought I might go back to one to supplement me. Where you guys get your news?
