On reddit, stopdrinking seems to be a support network for people who are in the process of quitting drinking, and for folks seeking and giving support for maintaining sobriety. Is that the same goal of this community here?
Something I never found on reddit was a sub for alcohol-free living that was not a support sub – a place for memes, jokes, mocktail recipes, more silly/casual gripes.
What do folks here think about a community like that on Lemmy? I wouldn't want to overly fragment an alcohol-free community, but also wouldn't want to use a support sub for that kind of content.
If you are a Procreate user (or want to be), come share your tips and tutorials, ask questions, and show us your art at this new Procreate community on the Reddthat server.

For the past several months I've been slowly tapering off an SNRI with terrible withdrawal. If I ever forgot a dose, I spent the next day with a pounding headache, unable to stand up, feeling like I was going to vom. As I've been tapering, every time I drop the dosage it's the same symptoms, but to a u slightly lesser degree.
It's been... not fun.
And then I remember that I used to feel like this almost every Saturday and Sunday because of my binge drinking/alcohol abuse.
I quit using alcohol over three years ago. I'm really proud of myself, and grateful to (usually) feel better in my body these days.
I have English set as the primary language in my phone settings, but Spanish set as an additional one so I can swipe type in it – estoy probiendo practicar más lol. When I visited Lemmy the interface kept defaulting to Spanish for whatever reason.
Anyway after making my account I was able to change the language in my Lemmy account settings from "browser default" to English without having to delete the secondary language on my phone. Not sure why this is the only site that thinks Spanish is my default!
