I'm experiencing the same with the top right search. I'm assuming something is broken but I wanted to bring it up just in case.
Edit: top right search is now working, but the communities still aren't being found.
So the backend is coded in Rust? I've been learning the language but haven't actually used it outside of tutorials yet. I'm experienced in C++ and know how to program so I may look into it while I'm unemployed.
Is there a repo for the userscripts?
Edit: found them! https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts?sort=created&q=kbin
I particularly like the kbin enhancement script by SirPsychoMantis
kbin does seem more stable. It hasn't had issues for the couple days I've been here, while lemmy has gone down quite a few times during the same time frame.
Yeah, I think I'm going to switch over to kbin full time. It'll suck not having an app, but the mobile web UI isn't too bad.
Do you have a link for the comment box fix by chance? The search is currently broken so I can’t find that.
It felt good, right? I nuked mine today after a reddit user was an ass after I agreed with a sub mod on an extended blackout. This place is much cozier and you folks are a lot nicer.
I changed all my comments to one recommending Lemmy along with instructions on how to choose an instance.
