@minnie
@lemmy.worldHe does need mental health care, but he also needs punishment for taking the lives of 4 people. There is no way at 15, someone is unaware that killing 4 people is bad, and should be redeemed of any wrongdoing. Nope. At that age in the U.S., you already have a permit to drive. I agree he needs major help, but he shouldn't get to stay in a psych unit for the murder of 4 people. He knowingly and brutally stole the most valuable thing they had, their only chance at life. There must be consequences.
yes, you're right, and i already have that included in the about section of this community. i felt the wording was weird, but didn't quite know how else to put it. i fixed it, i hope. thanks
I’d also say that being deplatformed by a private company or fired by your employer are part of the consequences you risk by being an asshole.
Big agree here. So many people complain about being de-platformed and claim it infringes upon their right to free speech, seemingly completely unaware that they are on a private platform that can manage their users and what they say as they see fit. It's really odd.
I never said it wasn't illegal to assault a nazi or anyone for that matter. My only point is that freedom of speech is not freedom from social consequences.
why would i post a photo of people posted publicly online for humorous reasons, which i found on pinterest? for the same reason i reshare memes online that I didn't make, it's public. weird reply.
