@lemmy.worldI've been wanting to get one or two for some projects, but because of the prices and scarcity, I ended up just buying an old mini PC. It was like $60 and I can do a lot more with it than a pi (at least for home server projects).
I did the same on an old macbook. I basically use it as a chromebook now which is fine. It's old enough that it couldn't be a workhorse anyway. Even OSX was chugging but Mint runs great (now that it's all set up).
My personal computer is Windows mainly because of gaming and game dev, but WSL means I don't have to dual boot to tinker on a web project or something. In a way, it killed the Linux desktop for me, but I still use Linux as much as ever. With Docker as well.
Winding down on Zelda: TotK. Just started Path of Exile which has been in my Steam library for ages. I want to play Diablo IV, but I don't want to pay $70.
Not necessarily. You can subscribe to a specific community on another instance by searching from your "home" instance with !<communityname>@<server>
and subscribing from there.
