@guild.pmdcollab.orgYeah that's also annoying. SwSh has the same problem at times but it feels like they're a bit rarer in SV...?
Raids in SwSh are a joke so it's definitely a lot easier to get candies to level Pokémon there. 4 and 5 star raids in SV are challenging to where you're not guaranteed to beat it, meanwhile.
Of course, not every Pokémon is in SwSh, there are notable holes, so there's still merit to grinding SV raids. The problem is you are expected to have trained your Pokémon in terms of EVs... and the multiplayer has a lot of technical and design problems on top of that.
I so badly want to say Vulpix because obvious biases, but I'd have to train it a lot to make sure it doesn't burn down the house if I were to leave them home alone.
With that in mind, along with the fact that I've always wanted a cat, I'd probably raise a Sprigatito. It seems like it's easy enough to raise, and the Grass type wouldn't cause a lot of problems in comparison.

Yep, this was me when I first started out. The chooser was cool but didn't really answer the question of which one I should use first.
I eventually settled on Mint. Cinnamon left a lot to be desired imo, but otherwise it worked quite well and I'd recommend it as a first distro.
Honestly I'd probably have to say either USUM or BDSP. Their post-games were enjoyable for me. SV are too unpolished to make me want to keep playing it.
This has always been a difficult question for me. The newer games have so many quality of life additions that I find it harder to go back to the older titles... but then, the older titles tend to be more polished and have more "charm" to them.
I also mostly play in the post-game, not replaying the story.
I don't mind Mythical distributions being mostly online nowadays, but I would love to see the in-game story events that you had to go through make a return.
For all of its flaws, I think BDSP did that quite well.
