The annual survey linked in the article gives me the impression that this comes down to a lack of understanding about how social security works and what we can expect from it. Apart from addressing the actual issues with the system itself, we also need to ensure people are properly educated on it.
I know the common suggestion is better financial education in schools - although the likelihood of it sticking long term seems low to me - but that would have a greater impact if resources were also more readily available to adults. Financial advisors were mentioned in the survey as becoming more popular with younger workers - perhaps we'd see better success with a combination of school instruction as well as access to resources/advisors via HR benefits?
The vast majority of people I speak with just use regular old text messaging. If it's someone I meet via networking at work, I'll occasionally get asked about LinkedIn; same thing but with Discord if it's someone I meet gaming online.
The news post also details a few QoL updates that will be coming with the season (hooray for gem inventory management!), but it lacks my biggest request - pets. I have no idea why that's my biggest one, but I miss having a pet running around and picking up my gold.
I usually take over an island so I don't have to dig a trench or build a giant wall (I find both ugly), but I'd much prefer to turn raids off entirely so I can build something visually pleasant without worry.
I'm excited to get another world going with the new difficulty settings. I'll finally be able to build without fear of raids wrecking my base!
I'll be curious to see what these numbers look like once student loan repayments start back up in October. I know I'm personally going to have to cut back my 401(k) contributions - which I increased during the payment pause over the last few years - in order to resume my payments, even with an IDR plan.
I feel that in my bones, lol. It'll be so nice once they're able to let us dragonride everywhere and with our older mounts too. I miss the mount variety when dragonriding, but I miss the speed when flying regularly.
This was so much fun! All of the races were enjoyable, and it was great to see some of the older zones I haven't been to in a while.
I think my only complaint is that the event doesn't award enough of the Riders of Azeroth badges to purchase all of the cosmetics provided (you can get up to 154 but need 240 to buy everything). Assuming they continue to add new cosmetics when the other continents' races arrive, the only way to get all of the cosmetics is to do the races again on an alt.
I chose the same. There's probably a guide out the with the "correct" answers, but those two made the most sense to me.
