@agnomeunknown
@lemmy.worldThere's not really a general association with fuckwits, the whole thing stems from Apple phones using a different color for Android users in a text, because they have a bunch of proprietary bullshit in iMessage that doesn't work on Android. It's a meme but also I'm sure some people take it quite seriously.
Edit: Apple users are fuckwits though
It's a borrowed word because we don't have a translation, though. Tamales are tamales. Also we say tamale for singular but it's tamal in Spanish. It's a loan word in every way.
Thanks for mentioning trash guides. As I mentioned in my other reply, it helped me get everything set up easily.
Thanks for this! I didn't know about symlinks so with the help of the trash guides site the other poster mentioned I was able to get it set up.
It's not perfect and it'll be a minor chore to refresh the libraries but it's better than it was.
Also, in the process I discovered that I am dumb, and I overlooked the "mixed movies and TV" option when adding my library before. I just added the same one twice, once as movies and once as TV. It worked for Plex but obviously caused issues in jellyfin. Doing it the correct way also gave me the no frills directory structure style that I was looking for. I'm using the symlinks for now but if I get tired of the upkeep my friends will just have to deal with the slightly less aesthetic version.
Take your time, it's worth it. I reluctantly finished my "first" playthrough (not counting my actual first attempt when I started as the dark urge and restarted after 20 hours because it was clearly fucking everything up) at around 250 hours played. This patch is making me consider starting again. Best game I've played in ages.
It also semi consciously feeds into the misogynistic trope of calling/implying that men are feminine as an insult. It's just a bad look all around
As a fellow chipmunks hater, I would be remiss if I didn't tell you to check out chipmunks on 16 speed. Truly a mind melting experience.
I'm sorry, you're welcome.
I believe the implication is that these people are part of a psy-op from Russia. It was a common theme of online discourse during Trump's presidency, with some decent factual evidence to back it up iirc. Many pro trump accounts on Twitter were suspected of being operatives, or even just bots, for example.
It's kinda stale as a reference, but there is still a significant chance that these kinds of accounts still exist and engage in spreading disinfo.
That is too much leguizamo for anyone to attempt in a single sitting. Know your limits!
