Haha that's understandable! Well, either option should be a good choice. They've both been around since 2021 and their admins are quite active so they appear to be stable long-term instances. According to lemmy.fediverse.observer feddit.de has better uptime but in my (admittedly limited) real-world use I can't recall ever running into prolonged downtime on sopuli.xyz.
That's disappointing but thank you for giving us a place to call 'home' in the fediverse for as long as you did. I appreciate your time and effort doing so.

I started using slrpnk.net while lemmy 0.19 was causing federation issues back in late December early January but that's an instance intended for people interested in or involved with the Solarpunk movement so it's not going to be an ideal place for everyone. Any of the general purpose instances I've mentioned are great options that I've used in the past.
Hey @_Frog, sorry to be an annoyance but are there any plans to update this instance to 0.19.3? It’s been out for two weeks and appears to have fixed the issues with 0.19, 0.19.1 and 0.19.2.
These companies are constantly mislabeling lying about these networks every generation. They are addicted to advertising bullshit lying.
FTFY
Actually, the devs just released 0.19.3 which includes the following bug fix:
Mark instance as alive after successful activity send (fixes #4039) by @Nutomic in https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pull/4377
It sounds like that will probably resolve the issue.

Hmm I know on feddit.ch/instances it still lists 19.1 but according to lemm.ee they're already running 19.2. I did discover status.lemm.ee which confirms feddit.ch is not reaching lemm.ee but they're reaching here so it looks to be an issue on this end. I'm not sure if this would be useful to you but here's a screenshot:
Have you encountered any ongoing federation issues? I've noticed my posts in !moviesandtv@lemm.ee aren't showing up so I've been using an alt to post there. We're listed as being federated with lemm.ee on their end so it's a bit odd. I haven't had any issues with any other instances.
