@Lost_My_Mind
@lemmy.worldI've been saying since I got here that topic specific instances are the way to go with this concept. I'm hosted on Lemmy.World, but if I were to seperate posts by local, it wouldn't do much. I'd just see a bunch of random community posts.
But if I were on Lemmy.Sports, and seperated by local, I'd see a bunch of sports stuff. Then I could go to Lemmy.Videogames and see a bunch of video games stuff.
Then I could go to Lemmy.Photography, and see a bunch of communities about photography.
Then you could have these all-in-one instances like Lemmy.World, where you have communites that don't make sense to be on a dedicated instance. Niche topics, that the community itself is all that's needed.
And make it so you can go to other instances home pages, and sort by local, while still logged in. That would help too.
They must HATE me......There's a thrift shop just up the street from me. I bought Deadpool on DVD/Bluray combo pack. Still sealed new from factory, for $2.50.
I buy lots of DVDs there. My sisters say my collection is rediculous. She means it in a bad way, like I need to get rid of some stuff. But hell, when it's $2.50, why NOT buy like 20 movies in an afternoon? And why NOT do that same thing several times a year? Although I will admit I'm running out of room......help! My apartment is filled with DVDs, and I can't see the walls anymore!
Why.......why are you coming in here with this attitude of "You all suck, I'm the best, suck it nerds! Peace out, bitches!"?
It's a Batman game. I've never played this. I thought I had it in the 90s, but this isn't the game I had. The game I had sucked, but it looks nothing like the screenshot here. So maybe this game IS hard? I'm not sure. But why come in with this dismissive insulting tone before people even get a chance to play the game?
I'm so confused....
Do we know WHEN they went out of business? Because 2007, it wasn't uncommon to see gas at even $5.10 per gallon.
Also, on the day after 9/11, in New York, some gas stations went from the (at the time) common gas prices of $1.15 and made it as high as $5.00 per gallon. Then, the next day, president Bush had made that practice illegal.
So, if they happened to go out of business on 9/12/01, or anytime around 2007, this price would have been seen as low.
What is a district in this context?
And yeah, I have the Raspberry Pi Imager. That's what I used to write my previous OS's to my SD cards.
Years ago I used Rasbian, which I guess is now called Raspberry Pi OS. Years ago my fan worked. Then I switched to TwisterOS, and that worked great too. Then there was some issue with something. I forget what. But in order to fix it, I was instructed to do an update all.
I did, and my fan broke. I spent weeks trying to get it working again. It would work on raspbian, but not TwisterOS.
I had hundreds of gigs of roms on it, and I didn't want to format and start again. So I threw it in a drawer, and got frustrated with the thing. Well this week, I wanted to get it working, and even on Raspberry Pi OS the fan script won't work. It installs, but it doesn't do anything....
Oh, you mean real in the sense that he actually said these things on a public platform. Not real in the sense that these events happened in real life.
For a second you almost lost credibility, until you cited your source.
