@JasBC
@beehaw.orgWe can very obviously see how anti-communist revolution in Hungary is going for Hungarian trans people right now.
To blame "anti-communist revolution" for the decline of LGBT-rights in hungary when much of the anti-LGBT legislation came about near 20-years after Hungary became a democracy and during when the Hungarian Socialist Party, the successor of the Communist Party, was still the largest force in Hungarian politics is disingenuous.
I would like to point out that the word tankie was used to refer to people that specifically supported the Hungarian communists request for military aid against revolution in Hungary. (...) So in the original sense of the word, I am a tankie.
...it's nice that you're honest about being anti-democratic and that you have no qualms about calling yourself tankie in that context. Are you a "little green man" as well?
I have a PocketBook HD somethingorother that I bought last year, which I choose specifically because PocketBook is Swiss and doesn't lock me into any ecosystem, and while I don't regret my purchase or anything I think there's a lot to improve on the model I got, among them:
the device is clearly underpowered and the OS stutters so badly that even powering the device back up from sleep can be a challenge at times as it will lag-out.
it only has 16-gigs of built-in storage with no microSD-support.
it supports audiobooks...but only supports audio-playback via a dongle.
auto-brightness simply doesn't work at all on my unit.
it has micro-USB and not USB-C.
Bug? No sir, here at Bethesda those are called "features" or, as we like to say, "Modder's Delight".
...if they've been up there for two years what reason does he have for keeping them? It says he's a contractor and yet...the fact that he's not going to pay for a parking spot or garage but instead to park them up in the mountains, why?
I deleted mine nearly directly on the spot when the news about shutting out 3rd-party apps hit the net. No big deal.
One great thing about about software is you don't have to agree with or care about what the creators thoughts and beliefs are, software is at the end of the day just software.
It really isn't though - no-one dared touch ReiserFS after the creator became a wife-murderer even though it, supposedly at the time, it was quite the piece of advanced code.
