I'm so frustrated. I did everything to keep him from licking the wound for 2 weeks, and it worked! Lick sleeves, cones and near constant monitoring. The wound looked great! Almost totally healed minus one scab at the end.
First night without the cone I slept on the floor with him, success no licking. Second I thought we were all set, woke up to the wound licked. Scab was off. It wasn't bleeding, but you could see it was raw with drips of blood. He has disolviy stitches and an end was hanging out.
It's not terrible, but it's not great. I'm so frustrated! I thought we had made it past the incision healing stage. I should have waited until the scab came off on it's own.
Sorry for the vent.
Wanted to gather my thoughts so far on tips from someone in week 2.
My dog is currently going through his second TPLO surgery (doing great!) and I really wanted a place to vent or talk that wasn't reddit or facebook. I decided to create this community to give a place for other people to let them know that others are going through this too and they aren't alone.
I'm hoping someone can help me. I have my steamdeck in the office dock connected to a monitor. When I turn it on a navigate on the external monitor. I clicked on the "..." Menu and noticed a VRR option. Like an idiot I clicked it. Monitor went black. My monitor does not support vrr.
I have tried display safe mode, rebooting and the monitor remains non functional. The monitor actually is giving me a warning that the current timing is unsupported.
I can get into desktop mode and the external monitor works there but I can not find that vrr option to turn it off.
Any help would be appreciated
