True, it's Broadcom's fault. From which ISO? I only have one Mac so I've only been able to install there. It worked out of the box but it always randomly froze after two hours of use until I found it was the Broadcom Wifi
~~I have a 2013 MacBook running Ubuntu. I would recommend Kubuntu because idk which wifi chip your MacBook has but it probably won't play nice with Linux (which is apple drivers fault). And there is a great guide on how to fix it for Ubuntu

Don't know about piracy based distros but it's really easy to pirate in Nobara using lutris and comes pre configured for gaming. It also has Only office which has amazing compatibility with MS office

True, I've been using NobaraOS and have no problems at all, I moved my mom from windows to ZorinOS and she only noticed because her laptop no longer "freezes up" randomly, and I'm talking about a surface book that runs better on Linux than on Windows. Gotta love the irony
