Along the same vein, I bought a flexible desk lamp with a built in magnifying glass for this type of stuff - use it almost daily.
The "epicurian" brand is perfect for this, or their knockoffs. Its like 1/4" thick (6mm) composite wood. I have one that even fits in my laptop bag - way better than any designated "lap board" I've ever found.
I have a set of these designed for musicians, theres an open channel through them, and you put a special "button" at te outward end, that lowers volume without affecting sound quality. I think the company is called "Etymotic Research"
I have a smaller version of this, its just slightly larger than a normal frozen pizza. Pure game changer.
If they cost 100k, its still a net cost savings, as well as a major drop in liability potential with employees. They are, from a financial perspective, the obvious right move.
That's excellent! My grandfather was a collector of historic firearms, and when he passed, my dad got most of the collection. I'm very happy to have found this little community, and I will post some of the collection here once I take some good pictures, etc
So at $110 per day savings, a $5000 console would pay for itself in 45 days. Seems like a no-brainer from a business standpoint.
Ordered food at a McDs recently? Touchscreen kiosks replacing workers. Some franchises are working on AI auntomated drive throughs. Yeah, the robots are here, they just dont look like robots.
