@lemm.eeFor some reason, I just remembered a webcomic that I used to enjoy reading ages ago called The Count Mickey Dragul by twisted-wind on Deviantart. It was a gothic setting where Mickey Mouse was a vampire. I went looking for it today but it looks like the author deleted all of their uploads on deviantart. I did find a single volume that someone uploaded to imgur here. DId anyone happen to archive the other two volumes? I'm sure the author had their reasons for deleting everything, but I'd be sad if this became lost media.
Although the first Pebble watches were released all the way back in 2013, their sleek, efficient design makes them a viable companion to modern smartphones to this day. But since the company that developed them (Pebble Technology, Corp.) is long gone and the companion app is no longer readily available, new and returning Pebble fans may be at a loss of how to get started. Thankfully, the greater Pebble community is alive and well, and many resources are available.
Rebble is a community-run service the replaces the old Pebble Web Services and keeps things smart and customizable. If you already have the Pebble app installed on your phone, you can tap here to switch over to Rebble.
If you don't have the app yet and can't redownload it, you can find download links and information for sideloading it on iPhone here or Android here.
If you're interested in developing your own watchfaces or apps for Pebble, check here.
Looking for more community resources? Stop by the Rebble Discord Server, Rebble Twitter account, or the Pebble community on Reddit.
I didn’t think it would be this nice, but it’s really helpful when browsing All to see quickly which similar-named communities I’m already subscribed to, and to block communities that I already know I’ll want to block without even seeing the sidebar.
I’d kind of like the ability to see which instance a community belongs to alongside the subscribe and block buttons. For example, there’s an instance full of interesting communities full of content, but it’s all posted by a bot based on content from Reddit. (I just blocked the bot account, but still.)
