@BurnSquirrel
@lemmy.worldI don't think it's this "all rich jerks own commercial real estate" thing that everyone going on about. I get the feeling it's more about the managerial/director types. The ones who are maybe well off but maybe not quite rich. My director owns a 150,000 tesla, but I don't think he's near well off enough to own an office building.
Anyway, at a certain level and upwards, all you do is meet and talk to people all day. They value face to face communication because that's a more effective meeting, and builds more rapport with the members.
I have more time in rimworld but play both. Sometimes DF is nice when you can't be arsed to care about the people you manage and don't want to micromanage the way you really have to in rimworld sometimes. Plus there is no storyteller in the rimworld sense. You get more raids if you live near people who don't like you and I feel like that makes a lot of sense.
ikd man, I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, like none of us have any idea what we're doing at any given time
After reading about some old and failed Department of defence ideas, like nuking the moon, or making a "gay bomb", I've come to realize we're all morons.
For me personally growing up, everyone just steamed them into a wet tasteless mush. This is not the way. Almost all of them are good sauted or baked, even brussel sprouts with a bit of salt and a dash of oil
When are you far left communists gonna admit that we shouldn't be teaching children how to "make prison hooch"?
When are you extreme anarchists going to fess up that we shouldn't be melting the elderly?
When are all you far leftists gonna admit to things you already probably agree with?
