I have a few different stems, I don't have the exact WPA as featured on the Troy & Jerry show, but I do have one, and use it fairly often with a small shower head bubbler. It's great for ripping through a bowl in 2-5 hits without a cough (usually). Really terpy buds or back to back bowls increases coughing likelihood.
I'm considering picking up a recycled next. I hear there is better flavor and less chance of coughing.
I started my TM2 experience with the vgoodiez bundle. I have a 3D XL stem and bubbler as well. The 3D XL stem is a bit bulky for my taste, but it turns out to fix my DTV5 with silicone perfectly. I personally also enjoy the bubbler. I know some people don't like it, but that's probably because they are trying to rip it like a bong. I think it's a great halfway point between a session and a rip.
I'll add more pictures at a future date. I'm trying to trickle in more content and be the change I want to see in this community. I encourage others to share pictures of their gear.
Cool man. Thank you again for the information. Quite the operation you've got going! Congratulations.
Ahh, that sucks. The 4 is pretty sweet version to have, nice form.
There are some dream vapes I don't know if I'll ever be able to grab.
Dang man, you sound like a good friend to have!
I was curious if you also do custom commissions.
I saw a mod recently involving a similar pipe but for use with the prrl neo. I think I saw it on FC.
Some things to consider
For battery powered:
Tinymight 2 is my current favorite vape for its size, speed, power, ecosystem. I can use it with my water pipe and rip it like a bong, or hit it dry through a j hook, etc. There is a very small learning curve.
Mighty+ is a good session vape that is consistent and reliable. There is no learning curve. You need to be ready to commit to 3 minute session of slowly sipping on it. It is a great vape as a session vape, but if you're looking to take a hit or two do stuff for a few hours and repeat, TM2 all the way. It's large, but that's because it has 2 batteries and a screen. The crafty+ is the little sibling with one battery, no screen.
POTV Xmax v3 is okay for the price point, but if you spend a little more, you can get a better class vape. This sits in my drawer, but I might take it out for biking because i don't care if it breaks.
Dynavap is worth a mention as a cheap analog vape that can make huge clouds. There is also a huge ecosystem for it, and it's interoperable with some other vapes ecosystems.
Any stand-outs other than the FW, TM and Mighty? Are you more a portable or desktop vaper?
Yes, the capsules are the same size between 8 and 9.
I recently got back into vaping. 15 years ago, I used to use a box with a whip at my desk and thought it was pretty awesome.
I switched to cartridges for the most part for a while, but decided to try dry herb vaping again.
Holy shit. Dry Herb Vaping technology is much more impressive these days. I've been tasting flavors like never before and I feel healthier.
Again, I wouldn't make the FW my primary, but it's currently in the daily rotation with the TM2 and Mighty+.
Definitely recommend having one for at least the novelty.
