Ottawa Hospital declares 'Code Red' after fire at Civic Campus ER

Ottawa's largest hospital says a 'Code Red' was called at the Civic Campus on Carling Avenue at approximately 6:30 a.m. following a fire in the emergency department.
As if the workers at the hospital didn't have enough to deal with.
A spokesperson for Ottawa Fire Service said a sprinkler head was activated when they arrived and firefighters helped clean up the water. Spokesperson Nick Defazio said there was no fire or smoke, but the sprinkler could have been activated by someone using a lighter.
