Getting a little confused though about how federation happens across servers running different software. Viewing and commenting on mastodon, posts from non-mastodon servers.
Wasn't only for 48h? I might be wrong, but I remember reading about communities going private as a protest.
Anyway, welcome to the fediverse! You'll get used to it. It's easier if you don't think much about what's coming from where and where you're writing from, I think haha
