I understand the need for Beeper and am glad to see innovation in the area; but RCS is badly needed to create a modern and native communication medium across devices, without handing over your credentials to third parties or self hosting.
The only reason platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, etc. were able to exist is because of all the walled gardens and lack of innovation in SMS/MMS since early 90s.
I you do use Beeper or any form of Matrix bridges, let your contacts know about it, at least.
