A report earlier in the day indicated that free agent running back Dalvin Cook has "multiple offers" on the table.
I don't really understand the desire. They brought back Mostert and Wilson and added a speedy rookie stud in Achane. Feels like a rental at best. I guess they truly feel like they're one player away.
Dolphins fan here (I miss my flair) I think the last line there might be the cause of this. With that 49ers styled offense of “always expect the run” it’ll be better to have more running backs than less, especially considering how fragile ours can be. I’m anticipating they threw him a bone for a contract and will most likely not expect him to take it, but money is better than no money so we will see what he says.
Does Miami even have the cap to offer him anything competitive? Although, I guess no one else is offering. Still though.
