My lemmy experience so far

It's a little bit of a lesson for all; it became a bit easy to doomscroll on Reddit because of karma farming bots and other obsessive people on there. Here, you can't just wait and watch - the content feed only grows if people jump in and post shit, even stuff they're not 1000% confident is awesome.

Be the content you wish to see.

Don't be a coward, show us your feet.

im not confident in this post, I am only posting so someone thinks im awesome. have a great day!

People will stop posting about reddit any minute now

Given that 99% of the current users right now are reddit refugees it's kind of unreasonable to expect people to not want to talk about the thing that brought them here lol

Give it a bit

Hoping with those the service doesn't just become a wasteland like Peertube.

Are we using the same service? I've been scrolling my feed all day.

My lemmy is alive. What instance are you on? I can barely keep up

I'm new here and I don't even understand your question :D

HE'S ASKING WHAT INSTANCE YOU'RE ON

Everyoner has reasons, I'm here for the nudes, for instance.

We should create our own content.

Well done, you've made it do something! Keep poking with memes. Much appreciate. Wow.

@seesaw need any help?

my advice is to sort by new, there's very few people here compared to the other platform and while federation allows for cross server interaction you still need people to post and vote a lot for hot to refresh like the other's. I don't expect this to get anywhere near as big as the platform but once you've joined a couple communities new should refresh often enough.

PS: if you like leftist memes and propaganda check out lemmygrad which is a fairly large instance.

Yeah, you don't have to subject yourself to marxist garbage to get some content. Just subscribe to communities in multiple instances and browse your subs by new or hot.
