As Twitter, renamed X, faces increased scrutiny in the EU and usage falls, Elon Musk has floated drastic action.
Perhaps Mr. Musk would be receptive to the following message:
Hey Musk! You're not a bitch like Zuckerberg right? Show the world the man that you are and pull out of the EU like you mean it! I dare you! You won't if you got no balls!

Interessant, hätte gedacht das Wort ist generelles Deutsch. Scheint's wohl nur im Österreichischen Deutsch vorhanden zu sein. Steht auf jeden Fall bei uns im Wörterbuch.
Gatsch ist gleichbedeutend zu Matsch.

Eh, he "considered" buying Twitter and was forced to fulfill his agreement. Maybe we get lucky and it happens again.
Exactly, considering before acting hasn't really been his style since placing his bid on the company, shooting from the hip on the other hand...
Likely he will let it play out as long as possible. But eventually he'll have to. He's made it abundantly clear this far that he doesn't care about the money and complying with these laws wouldn't mean going against the whole reason he bought it in the first place.
And a somewhat calculating buisiness man, I have far higher hopes for little Elon in this case!

It is the internet town square. Of a town run by the likes of Elon Musk. Badly neglected, crime taking place on the streets in broad daylight, hateful graffiti smeared all over the place, people taking shits right in the middle of town square, and nobody to clean it up nor stop the perpetrators, because the mayor has an odd liking for faeces, and occasionally likes to take a good old dump in the middle of town square, himself, too.
Clearly nothing shady at all when your company makes threats (empty or otherwise) that they're gonna disappear from your country if you investigate them for incompliance.

The thing is that it won't save him from the current inquiry. Once the EU rules that he is in breach of the current legislation (which he clearly is) he owes them a shitload of money. Sure, he chose to not pay(he is mad enough to try). But that would later on make the Twitter penalties his personal problem.
And that is painful even for a billionaire. No more skiing in the Swiss Alps, no more Saint Tropez in the summer, no Monaco. And none of his assets can ever return to the EU or EU friendly allies.
That would probably make him even more mad.
Which I like. A lot.
Well, he reguses to pay tons of open bills for months so I wouldn't even be especially surprised tbh!
Yeah, but it's a bit different when big players like the EU are behind it. That's a tad bit different to the numerous landlords and employees he fucked over.
But don't get me wrong, I am also sure that he won't pay simply because he is so much his own ass that be thinks he is above everything.
Which the EU Commission really hates and makes them go more after you .
That could be a nice drama to watch.
