Motorsport has been leaning heavily into the multiplayer/esports side of the spectrum, at the expense of the single-player progression, for the past few titles. Sounds like this one goes even further. Even fully optimized, this wouldn't be a game for every racing fan.
What I want more than anything from the racing sims is a remaster or reimagining of Gran Turismo 2. That single player experience where you start from the bottom with a used car and build up to racing in the S Tier races. Hundreds if not thousands of cars (new and used) from so many manufacturers.
Are there such games? I've been looking for a game like Gran Turismo 2 but can't find it.
Likewise. I'd love a "CarPG" with the open world of Horizon, with the mechanics of Motorsport, and the profession of... Well, no game that I know of. As much as I enjoy Horizon, getting supercars thrown at you left and right removes all sense of progression for me.
Only downside i can think of is im def gonna have to upgrade my vega gpu. So glad used gpu prices are reasonable..
