#MonsterJam WEEKEND RECAP: BRIANNA MAHON STOPS GRAVE DIGGER SWEEP IN HAMPTON

With weather in the area, Monster Jam got an extended stay at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA, last weekend, putting on four events for the fans from Friday through to Monday.   The action kicked off Friday evening with back-to-back Arena Series East Champion Weston Anderson taking the Racing win in Grave Digger. El Toro Loco’s Elvis Lainez won the Great Clips Skills Challenge while Tony Ochs (ThunderROARus) took the win in Freestyle. Anderson claimed the Overall.   Sunday Afternoon saw Anderson claim a full sweep of Racing, Skills and Freestyle. He almost repeated the same feat Sunday Evening, but lost out to Travis Mowery in Stone Crusher in the Racing Final. Mowery had a strong weekend, placing in the top four Overall at all four events.   However, it wasn't until Monday that one of the drivers stepped up to put an end to Anderson’s Overall Event winning streak, with Brianna Mahon (Monster Mutt Dalmatian) taking home the Racing win and the Overall while Lainez won Skills and Anderson won Freestyle.
