Got started with Ed Brubaker's run and read it for a while. Fell off comics for a handful of years but got back into Mark Waid's run. Currently off comics now that I can't afford them, but I buy the occasional trade paperback.
I knew of the character since I was a kid i think it was a Spiderman comic or something Idk, but didn't really get into DD till the Netflix show.
The Netflix show (now on Disney+) is such a good adaptation of the character. It borrows heavily from Bendis/Maleev and Frank Millers runs.
Knew about the character beforehand but became a fan due to the Netflix show. Have read most of the recommended comic runs since except for the current one, not fully caught up yet.
