Is there a limit on Lemmy?
This is a small website, it probably canβt handle all the Reddit users migrating. How much can it take before shutting down?

Iβm honestly surprised how much the fediverse has grown in the past 3 months. Reddit fucking up is the push it needed.
Yes you should be able to comment on any community no matter where your βhomeβ is (as long as that community/instance doesnβt have any special rules)
@setsneedtofeed@beehaw.org can you see the comment I'm replying to?
Edit: okay, why is my tag messed up?
Yeah, it means we can have a secret conversation about how much @setsneedtofeed@beehaw.org SUCKS (jk), and they won't ever know, but non-beehaw users will be able to see our talk.
Imagine if someone made an allegation, like, "oh aren't you that user who pooped themselves?", just to see them not acknowledge it.
That's why I don't join instances that block others. I wanna see everything! 3:
Lemmy is not one single website, it's a federation. Every instance can help share the load, and new instances can be started if needed.
