They kill so many pollinators that pretty much no one should eat them. And definitely no vegan should eat them.
He was giving a historically accurate explanation, and you answered with an off-topic comment that we’ve read a billion times.
It appears it may take a billion more.
Edit: It also appears comments have been deleted and now mine's hanging on the wrong one. So FYI religion is a cancer
Evangelists are very fond of “love the sinner, hate the sin”. They have convinced themselves that open discrimination is “for their own good.”
And yet, if god were real, and if god truly loved lgbtq, wouldn’t he maybe say something to his assholish followers? Like, I dunno. If I had a friend and some of my employees started mocking them, discriminating against them and generally being assholes, I’d fire their ass immediately.
We don’t see that. Either god’s not real, god’s impotent, or he hates lgbtq. I’m gonna fall into the first two- he’s impotent because he’s not real.
No you see because [insert really banal and contradictory nonsense about old testament vs new testament while being careful to never reject the Old testament entirely in case God gets all smitey]
Please don't use this physically and sexually abusive piece of shit in memes. Even if you're making him say things he would never say. He doesn't deserve the attention.
You are thinking of new testament Jesus. Old testament god will destroy your crops, fuck your best friend then damn you for letting him do it.
I know when I love someone I can't wait to send them to a pit of eternal torment the moment they do anything I don't like!
God isn't so awesome in the NT. Jesus and Paul are going around condemning people to hell and we are told that God will chain a women to her bed, men will rape her, and all her kids born of rape will die. Jesus himself creates a parable of a king (where spoiler he is the king) who will one day demand that the bodies of all those oppose him will be cast in front of him.
As bad as the OT god was he didn't sentence anyone to hell or tell people that there would be oceans of human blood one day.
