'Build houses, not camps': Kalgoorlie residents object to BHP's proposed 1000-bed development

A resident is concerned their WA city is "becoming a ghost town" as mining giant BHP seeks approval to build a camp on council-owned land.
Houses or maybe other permanent structures, hotel/motel. Or even a specifically designed building that is reasonably easily convertable to the space needed for the time. A bit like how a Convention centre acts, but on a smaller scale.
