It was a post of an article about monkey torture videos and those behind getting caught.
I made a comment saying "Reminder that the animals people eat are also living and feeling beings" and all hell broke loose.

Funny though, I've seen very vegan stuff on lemmy.world main page and it gets up voted. I was thinking that the fediverse my be nicer to vegans.
