Don't you love when the only option is a salad? One day my dinner was green beans and a glass of wine.
Like is it that hard to have one veg dish? The chef Jen Agg argues that that wasn't the point of her restaurants, but how do you call yourself a hospitable industry if you only serve carnists?
Listen, going veg doesn’t have to be hard if your baseline for meat was ramen you microwaved in a measuring cup
As a truck driver, I've been stranded in places with limited options for food.
I've eaten cold rosarita beans out of the can.
Not bad.
Yeah in college I was a broke commuter and a can of cold chili was a staple food. I didn’t hate it
Should wrap the bean can unit in slices of Kraft. Adds another ingredient, but it would be amazing.
I've tried a lot of canned refried bean brands and I think I would rate rosarita towards the bottom honestly
I like old el paso better and it's usually sold in the same places. There's also one called Goya that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend experimenting yourself and seeing what you like!
I definitely will. I seem to always get refried beans for my burritos and I get home and say to myself, "these are gross, why did I buy them" rofl. I'll have to branch out and try other brands. Thanks for the reqs!
