Did I hear someone say that this video is showing off prototypes?

CIG must have a high confidence that this is mechanic is going to be added quickly if they're showing off its prototype.

It will be nice to be able to completely remove wreckage in the future. Just stripping the hull isn't a full solution for salvaging.

It's a little alarming that they're just prototyping the rest of salvaging at this point. You think this work would have been done while the T0 functionality was being worked on?

I always have a mini panic attack when I think about all the mechanics for this game that are just ideas that came out of CR's ass. Development on some major parts of the game (exploration) hasn't even started yet.

Looks good so far. I hope in the future they go to the point where players have to use a laser cutter to cut the ship into smaller parts.

I think that's the general idea, but they better not make me cut every part into tiny bits before I can salvage it :D

Honestly, I wish they would just show stuff like this every week. This is the kind of development sneakpeak that I love.

Better this than another ship episode :D

ISC is back \o/

I'm not a fan of salvage as it works today. If they add additional steps to the process, I hope they speed up hull scraping so the overall length of time to salvage a ship doesn't get longer.
