The abortion legislation coming out of the gop will bite them in the next election cycle. But in my opinion the damage will fade quickly. Voters are way to focused on the culture war. The lines have already been drawn. Abortion is one issue among so many and many gop voters will forget about it as soon as we move on to focus on a new hot button issue.
