Yes because someone getting sidetracked when talking about something with their partner is just completely out of the realm of possibility isn’t it
Your "genuine" opinion is absolutely retarded. Your religion is false and your feelings are invalid.
More like most school shooters have single parents. Having both parents is incredibly important to a childs mental health. And being married facilitates that.
Because a child needs a stable relationship between their parents in order to have a decent childhood. From a non-religious standpoint marriage is just another step in ensuring that the parents are ready to stay together for the remainder of the child's childhood and hopefully life.
Two people must come before their priest and/or government and announce they like each other alot or else they'll be bad parents. Really?
Go in front of whoever you want. But make sure it's with her and she knows. The commitment in front of others has meaning.
Divorce rates disagree with you
Many people accept it as fact that half of all marriages end in divorce, but as mentioned above, this applies only to first marriages. Those who wed multiple times face a far higher rate of divorce. In fact, 67% of second marriages end, and 73% of third marriages are dissolved
You know, there are quite a few good people in the world who are premartial pregnancies. It may not be YOUR ideal situation, but for many people, an official sort of marriage in ceremony is never going to happen anyway.
